New version, June 2014
EURL ECVAM (the European Union Reference Laboratory for Alternatives to Animal Testing) has made available an updated list of the alternative test methods submitted to EURL ECVAM so far (2008-June 2014).
Since the last update of the TSAR (Tracking System of Alternatives towards Regulatory acceptance) table on 6 March 2014, two new test methods, one in the area of genotoxicity and one on inhalation toxicity, were submitted to EURL ECVAM.
For four methods, that had previously been submitted to EURL ECVAM, either the assessment status of the full submission, or the outcome of the full submission assessment, or the validation and acceptance status changed. This concerns test methods in the areas of skin irritation, endocrine disruption and genotoxicity.
