Cancer epidemiology

A branch or subspecialty of epidemiology that studies factors influencing the occurrence (e.g., incidence, population distribution) of neoplastic and pre-neoplastic diseases and related disorders. Primary outcomes include incidence, prevalence, survival, and mortality from all types of cancers.
